Prices and Commercial Terms and Conditions at the Port of Oslo. Valid from 1 January 2011.

Environment discounts

Port of Oslo reward ships who meet lower than International Maritime Organization emission standards. As a trial we offer a discount to tank vessels which has a total score of 20 or more on the ESI-index.

The Environmental Ship Index (ESI) measures a ship's emissions based on the amount of nitrogen oxide (NOx), sulphur oxide (SOx), particulate matter (PM) and greenhouse gas it releases. ESI is used as a good indication of the environmental performance of ocean going vessels or ships.
