Security - ISPSThe International Ship and Port Facility Security code (ISPS) was initiated as a result of the September 11. attacks in 2001. New regulations to prevent acts of terrorism at sea were adopted. ISPS consists of security measures for both ships and port facilities. Requirements for shipsBefore calling at the Port of Oslo, the following information is required;

Declaration of Security (DoS)Completion of a DoS is required when;
A ship requesting a Dos must apply to the Port of Oslobefore calling at port: security@port.oslo.no or fax +47 23 49 27 64 containing the necessary information/documentation on the above mentioned. the vessel is charged for the expenses related to the DoS. |
